Course Description

This course introduces learners to the structure, shape, and dynamic movements of the Earth. Students explore the Earth’s rotation and revolution, and how these movements influence day and night, seasons, climate, and global time zones. The course further investigates the major climatic zones of the world, including the tropical, temperate, and polar regions, and examines factors that cause temperature variations on Earth.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to explain the relationship between Earth’s position in the solar system and life-supporting conditions, and appreciate the importance of Earth’s natural processes in shaping our environment.
